Friends of Ukraine, RI

Dear Supporters:

When we launched on 2/26/22, we knew our mission was to get immediate aid to those on the frontlines of Russia’s war in Ukraine. We did not know what amount of financial support to expect. You have blown us away. To date, Friends of Ukraine RI has crowdsourced over $120,000 in funding for medical supplies and cash assistance for Ukrainians.
As we wind down our operations, we would like to share the grassroots organizations we have worked with to help provide medical and humanitarian relief to Ukrainians. We will support these groups and the delivery of medical supplies to the frontlines while funds last and welcome you to support them directly.

Slavik and Leonid Krishchuk – one an ICU nurse living in Rhode Island and the other a pastor living in Lutsk, Ukraine, these brothers have developed a civilian network of medical supply delivery to territorial defense units on the frontlines of the war www.amazon.com/registries/custom/XORDE6241OQV/guest-view
Union of Help to Kherson – is a community-based NGO which provides humanitarian relief to the occupied region of Kherson, where people have lost jobs, lives and are unable to flee. With an extensive network of volunteers directly on the ground UHK provides help directly to these who need it most: struggling families, single mothers, elderly, people whose houses were destroyed.
